As you can see from the cash-o-meter on the homepage of this website there is still a lot of money to be raised before the building can be started. All the groups are fully committed to the project, but require your help to make it a reality.

To help raise the money a series of fund raising events are being arranged. These are the activities already being worked on (but other ideas are under consideration):

A raffle with prizes money just cannot buy (e.g. a replica set of name and numberplates of D1033 Western Trooper made by Steve Willis of the DTG or a mainline train cab-ride provided by a TOC);
A range of special merchandise - this is being developed and will be available by mail order or from any of the groups involved (more details to follow).
